While out house-hunting last Saturday, we saw this. It was a street performer with his little monkey. The guy had a few wooden props for the monkey to "act" with. In the picture, the monkey is carrying a barbell and from time to time, he would stop and lift the weights like he's in the gym! Just as our car pulled away, the man tossed the monkey another prop; it was a machine gun. I looked back just in time to see the little monkey pick up the gun and point it at the car behind us. Too funny.
What made me somewhat sad was the street performer was sitting right outside this huge building. Check out the eagle at the top of building! It was huge!
You see it so often in Jakarta, the haves and the have-nots side by side physically but in reality, they are worlds apart.
