Baby gear for rent in Jakarta - Bambino Piccolo

If you've got a baby and you're travelling, you know you've got lots of gear to lug. Anyone who's ever tried handling a fussy baby, the bag carrying all his stuff plus the stroller plus the car seat PLUS your luggage will know what I mean. Surely there's got to be a better way.

Well there is now in Jakarta. You can rent baby gear if you're travelling this way for a holiday or you're an expat mum waiting for the baby gear in your shipment to arrive. I'd been looking for this place for forever because I remembered reading about them in the Jakarta Post last year but I couldn't find the link again. Luckily a more persistent friend and fellow mum found the site and sent it to me - thank you, Liza!

The site is called Bambino Piccolo. They rent stuff like cots, stroller, car seats and bumbo seats. I haven't tried them myself so I can't vouch for their services. According to their T&C page, the minimal rental period is 2 months. They do have some products that have a shorter rental time though like their strollers. Their products are guaranteed to be kept clean and in good condition and are usually less than a year old.
