How (Not) To Teach Your Toddler How to Count

"Connor, come here... Mummy wants to change your diaper."

No response.

"CONNOR. Come here. Diaper change time."

Still no response.

"CON-NOR. I am going to count to three. If you don't come here by then, you are going to be in BIG trouble. One..... two....."

Hurried pitter-patter of toddler feet.

Our little boy comes running up with a big smile plastered across his face as he shouts gleefully at me, "...THREE!!!!"

Sigh.

At least I know he can count. Up to three anyway.

  1. Hi. I actually came to your blog by chance moons ago. Been a silent reader for a while. Truly enjoy reading your posts which are rather amusing especially since the presence of little monkey. Sometimes I share your thoughts and writings with my two girls who are 13 and 11. They love watching videos of Connor...he's such a cutie. You are truly blessed to have a beautiful family. I wish you well.
