Yummy Mummy: Shu Uemura Brow Atelier, Mid Valley Megamall

While we were on holiday in June, my buddy PB blogged about the Shu Uemura Brow Atelier at Mid Valley. I took a look in the mirror at my own unruly brows and promised myself I would try the service out the moment we arrived home.

Well, it took me almost 3 months before I finally found myself seated in Shu Uemura and ready to have my brows re-shaped. The Browster is Lisa Yap and she's a brow-shaper maestro. She tweezed and shaped my brows into lovely crescents and no Roy... I do NOT look perma-surprised with my new brows.

After she shaped my brows, she gave me tips on how to do it should I feel the absurd need to do it myself. Why bovver... when I've got the Master Browster to do it!

Okay.. one reason will be the RM50 I paid for her services. But you know what? Looking back, it was worth it. I can always go somewhere more budget-friendly for upkeep but she's got the main shape correct for me. But if I still want to go back to Lisa, it'll cost RM30 for subsequent visits.

Call Shu at 03-2287 1764 for an appointment, promise you won't regret it.

  2. Hi, I came across your post today and I wonder if I can still make an appointment today with Liza Yap as it's 2013 already. How early should I make the appointment?

    1. Hi I think she has long left the MV outlet and is based elsewhere now. You can still call the number and ask for her contact details. If you're booking a weekend appointment, might be best to book as early as possible. I usually did mine on weekdays and even then it was one client after another.
