I am cooking in the kitchen, Dear Hubby is at the dining table tapping away at his laptop and Connor is playing somewhere. I assume that Dear Hubby will be keeping an eye on our son as I am busy cooking dinner the family.
There is a loud crash that sounds like it's near the dining area. So I assume Dear Hubby will go and investigate and I continue cooking. A few minutes later, I realise 1) I didn't hear the sound of his chair scraping the floor to indicate he's gotten up to check on Connor 2) I didn't hear Connor being reprimanded 3) Connor is very quiet which usually means he's up to something
I dash out to the kitchen to this scene.
Turns out Connor had dropped the almost-full can of Pringles, causing the cap to fall off and all the Pringles came tumbling out onto the floor. A delighted Connor had immediately squatted down to enjoy the spoils of his mischief.
I didn't know whether to scold him or to laugh. We decided we would let him eat up all the big pieces of Pringles before sweeping all the smaller pieces up. Yes, I am a bad mommy. No, he didn't fall ill after eating Pringles off the floor. Yes, the smaller crumbs are easier to sweep up without the big pieces. No, we don't let him near any more Pringles after that.
Hi there! This is my first visit to your blog. I had to comment on this posting because I can totally relate. I have a 3 yr old boy and this happened to me but with M&Ms! Luckily, I got to him before he ate too many.
ReplyDeleteYour little boy is adorable and the picture of him eating pringles is too cute!
Hi Andrea, oh I'm very careful to keep M&M away from him. We had a bad incident in the car that ended up with one very happy little boy and one very dirty car seat. LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you... it is a cute pic now but we didn't think he was quite so cute when we found him then!
