Christmas 2014: Connor helps decorate the tree

Connor helped decorate the tree this year.  We didn't get to do this last year.  Last year's Christmas almost didn't happen!

But this year is all good.  Connor is finally old enough to be entrusted with the baubles and besides, they won't shatter if they fall onto our carpeted floor.   Daddy climbed up into our loft to retrieve all our Christmas decor and we put the tree together.  Then I left Connor with all the baubles and told him he could decorate it any way he wanted.

But once Connor was done, our tree looked quite peculiar.

There was a band around the tree with a very heavy concentration of baubles while the top and bottom were a little bare.  This band was about the same height as Connor's hands in the picture above.  I wonder why?

I've left it as it is because I think it's so cute.
