See the picture on the bottom right? That road leads on to a very nice gated compound where loads of expats live. Dear Hubby was looking quite pale at the thought of having to navigate through that kind of traffic and that kind of road everyday.
Jakarta does have wide, nicely paved roads but they're mainly in the Central Business District and the main toll roads. Once you get out of CBD, this is what you can expect to drive on.
